Everything is Awesome! We have loved Lego for a long time in our household, so for Lincoln's 6th birthday we gathered 20 of his friends for a Lego Movie themed party.
You can find so many free lego printables on the internet. I customised this lego movie invitation printable and printed at my local Officeworks. I also found printables for the lego sign and dessert table here.
The dessert table was filled with chocolate mud cake, cupcakes, chocolate bars, lollies, breadsticks and popcorn. I aslo used props I found around the house as decoration like lego block boxes, lego head and lego of course!
Lego chocolate bars. These were on the dessert table and popped into the party favor bags too.
The birthday cake was chocolate mud with butter icing. I decorated with tiny lego bunting and figurines.
I ordered these party packs from Catering For Kids and had them delivered on the day. They were great and saved me so much time. I also served some hot food along with the dessert table.
For party games and activities, I set up a colouring in station and lego for a master building contest. This was great to keep the kids busy and quiet!
The kids made some really cute creations!
I gave minipacks of lego as the prizes as well as this master builder certificate!
It was a lovely afternoon. The kids were given a lego party bag with lollies and a mini figurine, as a thank you.
