With another set of school holidays about to commence, we have an amazing creative play activity from our fave blogger, creator and product stylist, Lee from You Give Me Grace to help keep your kids happy and playing this Easter. 

This is a super easy DIY activity you can make at home with a few simple materials.

What you need:

Creative Play - materials required for DIY Felt farm

  • Big head needle 

  • BabyDonkie downloadable template

  • Big head needle 

  • Blue thread

  • Pen or texter for drawing on the felt

  • Velcro dots

  • A3 green thick felt 

  • A4 felt in dark green, blue, brown

  • Scrap paper 

  • Plastic lid 

  • Paper scissors

  • Material scissors

  1. Download and cut out BabyDonkie paper template.Step 1 instructions to create DIY felt farm for kids

  3. Cut out felt shapes using material scissorsStep 3 DIY Felt Farm
  4. Draw a squiggly line around the edge of the A3 green felt and cut out.Step 4 instructions for creative play DIY felt farm
  5. Using a running stitch, sew a swirl pattern into the blue felt.Step 5 - instructions for creative play DIY Felt Farm
  6. Put Velcro dots on the back of the green felt so you can stack them onto each other creating a hill effect. Step 6 - instructions for creative play DIY Felt Farm
  7. Cut up scrap paper until you have filled plastic lid making the food for the animals to nibble.Step 7 - instructions for creative play DIY Felt Farm
